During his meeting with the university parade supervisors, the President of the University of Basra confirms the mobilization of its staff to serve the visitors
The President of the University of Basra, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, directed active participation in serving the visitors of the Arbaeen Day of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) during his meeting with officials of the university’s service procession.
The university president stressed the mobilization of the university’s service and human capabilities to provide logistical and technical services and set up a procession at the (Shalamcheh) crossing and at the gate of the (Karma Ali) college complex.To provide services to the crowds of visitors heading to Holy Karbala to commemorate the Arba’een of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and to provide everything the visitor needs during his journey due to the difficult weather conditions in light of the high temperatures and the difficulty of the road, as well as strengthening the mechanisms for transporting visitors to reflect an image of solidarity and integration between the university. And the society required by the Ashura message and its eternal humanitarian goals.
The university president added that the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra Health Department, set up a medical detachment at the Shalamcheh border crossing to provide medical services to incoming visitors.
