Department of Arabic Language
The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education / Al-Qurnah was established during the academic year 2011, based on University Order M/8118/3 on October 23, 2011. Evening studies were introduced in 2014-2015, followed by the establishment of a master's program in 2018-2019. The department currently has approximately 900 students in both morning and evening studies.
Vision
To improve the performance level of graduates and instructors, enabling them to handle the responsibilities of education and elevate it to a better standard. This includes reviewing curricula to meet desired ambitions and enhancing the performance of teaching staff to align with these goals.
Mission
To raise the level of Arabic language education and deepen linguistic awareness within the community, as it is a key component of comprehensive renaissance and a manifestation of cultural awareness.
Objectives

To graduate competent teachers who can work to improve the standard of Arabic language education.
