The Qurna College of Education at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the ANTON OIL oil company and in cooperation with oil companies operating in the northern regions of Basra, held a course on occupational safety and health procedures.

 The course, presented by Pakistani international trainer Farhan Siddiqui, included first aid and the correct methods of dealing with emergencies and injuries at work sites to support graduates and teaching staff, as well as ways to avoid risks and adhere to safety precautions in laboratories, for example, and various work sites.
