The University of Basra organizes an educational symposium entitled Unethical behaviors on university campuses (identifying them, and ways to address them)

The College of Education - Qurna at the University of Basra organized a scientific symposium entitled Immoral behaviors on university campuses (identifying them, and ways to address them)

 The symposium aimed to teach college students to adhere to ethical behaviors and stay away from immoral ones on campus, to identify and review the university’s rules and regulations, the laws and instructions in force there, to abide by them, and to develop appropriate solutions for them.

 

 The workshop, in which the assistant teacher, Saif Muhammad Jassim, the assistant teacher, Zain Al-Abidin Salem Mardan, and the assistant teacher, Alaa Jihad Fadel, lectured, included the definition of the educated student, and what are the aspects on which the university student relies in order for it to be said that the university student is an educated student, and knowing the aspect The cognitive level that must be adhered to by students, and to be aware of the behavioral aspect that the student performs within the college, and to know and identify deviant behaviors, and to know the most prominent solutions and treatment to get rid of them. Among these deviant behaviors are:

 1- Not respecting the time allocated for study

 2- Lack of respect for the professor

 3- Lack of respect for colleagues among themselves

 4- Violating the official dress

 5- Poor college property

 6- Photographing teachers and students without permission

 

 The symposium recommended the need to adhere to the following matters:

 - Commitment to the ethics of scientific research and the professional integrity of the research in which one participates.

 - Commitment to attending important lectures on time; Your commitment to them will increase the speed of your understanding of them, and will enable you to overcome the obstacles to understanding that you may encounter while studying.

 - Adherence to the university’s rules and regulations related to taking exams (not to cheat, attempt, or help colleagues to cheat on one’s own behalf or on the part of others).

 - Commitment to behavior and appearance appropriate to Islamic and university norms, and not to engage in any behavior that violates Islamic morals or public morals observed within the university.

 - Refrain from harming religious beliefs, national unity, or nationalist sentiments, or intentionally inciting sectarian or ethnic strife in word or deed.

 - Not to harm the reputation of the university or college by any inappropriate behavior issued by him inside or outside the campus, and the university has the right to take appropriate action against him when any violation occurs.
