 The Qurna College of Education at the University of Basra held the annual evaluation conference under the slogan (Evaluating our performance is anticipating a bright future)

 

 The goal of holding the conference is to achieve self-evaluation of the college through the efforts of its distinguished professors, students, and supporting staff, as it is an essential pillar for upgrading and advancing the scientific level to achieve comprehensive quality.

 

  The Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Adnan Sultan Al-Sultan, stated that the conference seeks to uncover the most important obstacles facing the college and find solutions for them. He also indicated that the college is proceeding with modernization that passes from the stage of achieving outcomes to the stage of achieving efficiency in performance and in a way that ensures the graduation of a competent teacher who serves the community.

 

 He also stated that the college continues to advance the ladder of development and modernity and continues its tireless efforts to achieve its mission and goals of graduating distinguished professors who meet the needs of society.

 

 The first axis of the conference included the financial, administrative, and organizational aspects, which was presented by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Jawad Kazem Jaber, who gave a detailed explanation of the infrastructure and the financial, organizational, and service aspects, in addition to the accreditation and strategic plan of the college. The Assistant Dean also touched on the college’s most important field achievements. Service and scientific services related to the college buildings and their development, including green spaces and classrooms, and the development of research laboratories equipped with advanced equipment.

 

 The second axis included the scientific aspect presented by the Honorable Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Darab Shaaban, where he provided a detailed explanation of the scientific aspect, presented and discussed a group of scientific activities, and clarified the scientific process of the college by identifying the most important positive indicators of that process and the most important distinguished activities in the college. From the evaluation year and comparing them with their achievements in the previous year in order to work on developing these indicators for the better in line with scientific and research progress in the corresponding colleges.

 

 The third axis included the axis of the activities of the Quality Division, which was presented by the respected teacher, Sajad Abdul-Ghani, in which he explained the most important distinguished activities of this division.
