 Where the study dealt with (Identity in Islamic Poetry), to its realization of the ambiguity of the poetic identity of Islamic poets, by examining their poetic discourses, and their verified texts, which reached us through the ancient historical blog, which is proven in literary theory and the history of literature specifically, and the research was based on The mechanisms of cultural criticism in revealing the tendencies and affiliations that contributed to the deviation of identity and led to its ambiguity, based on tracking the sociological and doctrinal transformations brought about by the Islamic religion. , and the Rashidun era, in order to avoid terminological ambiguity in determining the eligibility of the name (Islamic poet), as the term may be valid for the Umayyad and Abbasid poets, and there is another scientific matter, which necessitated the study to limit it to the early period of Islam, represented by the critical period that witnessed political, doctrinal, social and systemic change, and thus the identity And her clothes are clearer in this period than in other periods

 The study was keen to determine the poetic identity and prove its ambiguity, based exclusively on the nature of poetic texts, and the historical positions related to the positions of poets towards the Islamic religion, and the reasons behind that.
