The College of Education, Qurna, at the University of Basra, held a seminar on studying the role of genistein in histological and physiological changes induced by using morphine in male laboratory rats.

 The study included an overview of the drug genistein, which is commonly used in major operating theaters, maternity halls, and cancer centers to relieve acute and chronic pain in patients, and as a result of the devastating effects it causes. morphine on study members

 

 The results of the study showed that the use of genistein had a significant role in treating or reducing the negative damage caused by morphine on the aspects of the study.
