 She touched on defining the theory as organized ideas that direct the reader’s view towards systematic perceptions, and the story theory studies everything that makes speech a narrative narrative, and the aim of the research is not to create a theory for the story, but rather to reveal what is related to the studies of the story in terms of narrative structure, narrative forms and contents, presented by critics through their research Criticism in the Journal of Foreign Culture.

  The research used the narration of the story as a general title that represents storytelling in the mind of the reader, as it includes all the narrative forms that formed a remarkable presence in the magazine.

  Due to the nature of the topic, the research followed the analytical approach, which is based on monitoring the features, manifestations and techniques of story theory in the journal. The Foreign Culture Magazine is one of the important Iraqi cultural magazines in the Arab world. It deals with the affairs of culture, arts and literature in the world. It is published by the Iraqi Cultural Affairs House in the capital, Baghdad. One of the pioneers of story, poetry, theater and criticism, in addition to their creative texts, which makes the reader aware of what is going on around him in the international literary arena, as it saw the light for the first time in 1980 and is still continuing its giving to this day, leaning on a group of Iraqi and Arab translators.

 The nature of the study necessitated that he come out with an introduction and three chapters, followed by a conclusion with the observed results, and an appendix that included questions addressed by the research to the editor-in-chief of the journal, then a list of research sources and references.
