Under the supervision and support of the Dean of the College of Education, Qurna, Prof. Dr. Adnan Sultan Abd al-Nabi, and through the University of Basra's message of openness to society, the Department of English at the College of Education, Qurna, at the University of Basra, organized a scientific trip for students of the fourth stage to the College of Arts, the English language and translation departments.

 It included a meeting with the professors and students of the two departments and getting acquainted with the cultural and scientific aspects. The students attended an interactive scientific lecture in the Translation Department about legal translation presented by Mr. Ahmed Faleh. Dr. Zainab, Head of the Translation Department, presented a brief summary of the department and the most important scientific subjects taught in it.

  After that, the students moved to the English Language Department, where a tour was conducted in the corridors of the department, accompanied by the department’s rapporteur, Dr. Hussein. After that, Professor Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Nasser gave a valuable scientific lecture to the students, which dealt with aspects and skills of developing students’ English language learning and the importance of activating students’ general culture skills. .
