The College of Education/Al-Qurna at the University of Basrah organized a workshop titled "Employing Smart Applications and Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Developing Teaching Skills," based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Department of Research and Development).
The workshop included the preparation of a development program for college faculty members to enhance their skills in using smart applications and AI within the educational process. The sessions were presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul-Jabbar Kadhim and Lecturer Kadhim Fadel Kadhim. The workshop addressed the definition of digital curricula, their importance, and their impact on education and scientific research. It also discussed the foundations of effective planning, user interface design, and the role of multimedia in improving the educational experience.
The workshop aims to:
• Review tools and mechanisms for evaluating the efficiency of digital curricula to ensure the achievement of educational and research objectives.
• Employ smart applications in teaching and scientific research.
