International Day of Education

The occasion of the International Day of Education comes this year in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has disrupted the educational process all over the world on an unprecedented scale and the impact of the closure of universities and other educational institutions on more than one billion and six hundred thousand students.  With the beginning of the new year, it is time to adapt cooperation and solidarity together. Faculty members, students, and staff have to place lifelong teaching and learning at the heart of efforts to recover from the pandemic and to transform towards a more inclusive, safer and sustainable society.

The right of education is a right explicitly stated in Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which calls for free and compulsory primary education and affirms that education should be accessible to all.

Without comprehensive and fair educational opportunities in quality education for all, countries will falter in their quest to achieve equality and get out of the cycle of poverty that negatively affects society.

This is what have prompted us to continue the educational process despite the pandemic and the insistence on electronic education to ensure the right to reach all students wherever they are so that life continues and we apply the slogan of our education will not stop.

Hence, we call upon you, our dear brothers, instructors and students, to make all efforts and devise solutions for the continuation of our College and University in our educational process: zeroing in problems, setting all possibilities for the continuity of the march and ensuring the right of education for all in the service of our beloved country and our notable University.

I wish You All Healthy and Success and God is the Grantor of Success!
