The Industrial Advisory Council held its second session on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in the College of Education / Qurna, headed by the Dean of the College and the Chairman of the Industrial Advisory Council, and in the presence of the Mayor of Qurna District and some officials of the relevant departments, with the aim of supporting and stimulating scientific research and enriching the labor market with the outputs of the scientific departments in our college.

The session's curriculum included many topics, where many different sector situations were discussed in depth, most notably the educational, agricultural, industrial, environmental, and private sectors.

The council concluded its work by addressing the most important challenges facing the work of industrial advisory councils, as well as the problems that concern sectors in northern Basra in general and the Qurna district in particular, and the possibility of overcoming these challenges with available methods through specialized research to diagnose them and how to treat them, while recommending holding other sessions in the next academic year.
