The University of Basra holds a workshop entitled “Basics of using the EndNote program in writing research and coordinating scientific sources.”

The College of Education in Qurna at the University of Basra held a scientific workshop for postgraduate students entitled “Basics of using the EndNote program in writing research and coordinating scientific sources,” delivered by Prof. Dr. Adnan Badr Ghaleb, M.M. Afrah Talib Abdullah.

The workshop aimed to develop the skills of graduate students in using the EndNote program as an effective tool in organizing and managing scientific references and coordinating them according to internationally approved documentation methods, which contributes to raising the quality of academic writing and facilitating the process of citing sources while preparing theses and research.

The workshop included a theoretical explanation of the program’s mechanism of operation and the method of entering and organizing sources within an electronic library, in addition to a practical application aspect explaining how to connect the program to word processing programs such as Microsoft Word for use while writing research, while clarifying the differences between using EndNote and manual entry of references.

The workshop emphasized the importance of these skills in achieving accuracy and professionalism in research work, and enhancing the academic competence of researchers and graduate students.
