The College of Education/Al-Qurna at the University of Basrah received a ministerial delegation to review the physical and human resources, as well as the infrastructure, in preparation for establishing a PhD program in the Department of Biology.

The visit included a field tour of the central laboratory for postgraduate studies and the laboratories of the Biology Department. The delegation inspected the modern equipment and available technologies, assessing their readiness to support scientific research projects and postgraduate students. Furthermore, they discussed the academic and research plans for the proposed program.

During the meeting, the Deanship of the College emphasized its commitment to developing the research environment and enhancing scientific rigor, contributing to the elevation of postgraduate studies and meeting the community's needs in vital and scientific fields.

This visit is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to support the establishment of high-quality postgraduate programs that contribute to enhancing the academic and research progress in Iraqi universities.
