The University of Basra organizes a workshop on managing the student information system (SIS).

The College of Education in Qurna District - University of Basra organized a training workshop entitled “Managing the Student Information System,” within the framework of enhancing administrative and technical efficiency in following up on students’ academic data.

The workshop aimed to emphasize the importance of entering basic data for students, which includes full name, gender, place of residence, and examination number, to ensure the integration and updating of the central database for students. The workshop was lectured by A.M. Dasjad Abdul-Ghani Abdullah and M.D. Anwar Nouri Ayoub and M.M. Saad Abdul Hussein Abbas
The workshop included several topics, the most prominent of which are: the study program management mechanism, and the creation of study programs for each department in the college for both morning and evening studies, as well as entering information about the courses, including the subject code, the name of the teacher assigned to it, and the number of registered students.

This workshop comes within a series of academic and training activities aimed at developing the college’s digital and administrative infrastructure, which contributes to raising the efficiency of academic and administrative performance and achieving the highest levels of quality in university work.
