The College of Qurna Education at the University of Basra held a symposium entitled Scientific and Intellectual Dimensions in Visual Heritage in cooperation with the Cultural Center and sponsored by the Holy Abbasid Shrine.

It included a symposium delivered by the Director of the Heritage Center, Sheikh Mudrik Al-Hassoun, during which he praised the deanship of the esteemed college, thanking the roles and efforts of the distinguished researchers who contributed to the success of this symposium and confirming the depth of cooperation and the impact of the fruitful cross-fertilization between the Center and the rest of the scientific and academic institutions that enhance the role of thought and visual heritage.

The symposium aimed to enhance the intellectual, cultural and heritage identity of the generous city of Basra.
