The department of English at the the College of Education-Qurnah at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on (How to write abstracts of thesises in English) on Monday,12/14/2020.
Dr. Jawad Kadhem Jaber Al Maaraj talked about defining the steps for writing the abstract for thesises, which are five basic steps, including specifying the field of research, the goal of the research, the research methodology, and giving results, conclusions and recommendations for future studies. Al-Ma'arij said that the aim of the seminar is to define and clarify the steps for writing the abstract, indicating their functions and the information providedin the abstract.
