To consolidate the culture of volunteer work and preserve the college environment, the Women's Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education Qurna, University of Basra, organised a voluntary campaign to clean the college, its corridors, and the roads leading to it, with the participation of the college's employees and students.
It came based on what the university seeks to create an appropriate university environment inside and outside the university corridors and to promote the civilised reality, and students' awareness of the importance of taking care of the aesthetics of the campus and ensuring attention to cleanliness and the environment, and encouraging them to have a pivotal and positive role in this field.
He added that the campaign included cleaning and tidying the squares, roads, and streets surrounding the college, and removing waste from them.
