Two teachers at the University of Basra issue a joint book entitled (Edges of Text... An Aesthetic Vision in Creative Texts)

A joint book was issued by two teachers at the College of Education, Qurna University of Basra, Department of Arabic Language, namely Professor Dr. Mortada Abdel Nabi Ali and assistant teacher Iman Abdel Jassim, entitled “Edges of Text: An Aesthetic Vision... An Aesthetic Vision in Creative Texts” that included several research projects collected in five chapters and considered approaches. A procedure for understanding these creative texts

 

 The book titled (Edges of Text - An Aesthetic Vision in Creative Texts) includes chapters that are as follows:

 As for the first chapter, it was entitled (The Linguistic Impact on the Aesthetic Formation of Poetic Discourse (Lamiyyah Abu Talib, peace be upon him, as an example))

  As for the second chapter, it is entitled (The manifestations of pilgrims in Surah Al-Qasas)

  The third chapter was entitled (A semiotic approach to the novel “The Prophet” by Gibran Khalil Gibran)

 These researches are attempts to study, read, and analyze creative texts that were created due to the academic situation between us, and we sought to produce them with these methods of criticism, analysis, and adopting an aesthetic vision to understand these texts, benefiting from linguistic and critical approaches in drawing their general and specific features and implications.
