The Biological Safety and Security Committee from the Presidency of the University of Basra visited the College of Education / Qurna. The committee aimed to follow up on security and safety conditions in the laboratories of the Life Sciences Department and the Chemistry Department.

 The committee was accompanied by the scientific assistant, Dr. Ali Darab Shaaban, the department heads, Dr. Adnan Badr Ghaleb, Dr. Amjad Taher Battur, and the laboratory unit official, Mr. Ali Shehit. Members of the two departments were chosen to follow up on laboratory security in the Life Sciences Department and the Chemistry Department.
