The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Education in Gourna, represented by Dr. Afaq Lazem Abdel Latif, accompanied by the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Ali Darb Shaaban, made a field visit to the Social Welfare Foundation for Widows and Divorced Women and provided financial support to the Foundation.

 The visit aimed to strengthen the role of the relationship between the University of Basra, College of Education/Qurna, and the Social Welfare Foundation in the district. The visit also included providing financial support to the institution given the importance of relations between the university and other institutions in a manner consistent with the organization of government programs to support the government sector.
