The College of Education / Qurna at the University of Basra organized a scientific symposium entitled (Employee duties are a legitimate and legal assignment)..

The seminar aimed to inform the employee of the duties and obligations entrusted to him to perform from a legal and legal standpoint.

The symposium, in which Assistant Professor Dr. Riyad Abdel Rahim Hussein and Assistant Lecturer Ali Badr Jabbar lectured, included the duties assigned to the employee within the framework of the university campus from a legal and legal perspective. This was referred to in the following:

 The legal aspect:

It includes what is required and prohibited for an employee within the framework of Islamic law

 Legal aspect:

 And it guarantees

1: The employee’s duties referred to in Article 4 of the State Employees Discipline Law No. 14 of 1991, as amended.

2: What is prohibited for the employee according to what is stated in Article 5 of the same law

3: Mechanism for forming committees and grievances against administrative decisions that include disciplinary penalties

 The symposium recommended the necessity

1: Reconsidering the applicable state employee disciplinary law

2: Qualifying legal and functional cadres in state departments to advance them towards correct management of investigative committees, especially since the broad discretionary powers that the committees have in imposing penalties makes them vulnerable to error and thus injustice to those who are referred to those committees.
