A master's thesis at the University of Basra discusses the impact of the linguistic function in directing the Qur'anic significance of Dr. Saeed Al-Zubaidi

A master's thesis in the Department of Arabic Language - College of Education / Qurna at the University of Basra discussed the impact of the linguistic function in directing the Qur'anic significance of Dr.

 

 The study dealt with how Dr. Saeed Al-Zubaidi used the language in directing the meaning of the Quranic text.

 The study was divided into three chapters, with an introduction, a preface, and a conclusion containing the most important results.

 As for the first chapter, it came under the title (The Impact of Language on Interpretation and Interpreters) and was divided into two sections:

 The first topic: language as a tool of interpretation: I divided it into two axes:

 First: Language and its Function: In it, I introduced the language and the different functions of language.

 Second: Language and Interpretation: I talked about the importance of language in interpretation. This axis included three points:

 a) Language is one of the conditions that must be met by the interpreter.

 b) Rules for interpreting the Qur’anic text with grammar rules.

 C) The effect of language on the difference of interpreters.

 The second topic: the approaches of the commentators and the approach of al-Zubaidi: it came in two axes:

 First: The Methodologies of the Interpreters: In it, I presented the exegetical methods in the past and the present. I preceded them by defining interpretation and the methodology linguistically and idiomatically, and the difference between interpretation and interpretation. Then I introduced the methods, and I mention them: the linguistic method, the graphic method, the allegorical method, the scientific method, the method of interpretation by opinion, and then the methods in the era. the talk.

 Second: Al-Zubaidi’s methodology in interpretation: It came in three main points:

 A) Dr. Al-Zubaidi's arrangement of his course.

 b) Features of his approach to interpretation.

 C) The new in the interpretational approach of Zubaidi.

 As for the second chapter, it came under the title (Linguistic phenomena and their impact on semantic guidance) and was divided into four topics: they are as follows:

 The first topic: the phenomenon of opposites.

 The second topic: the phenomenon of tandem.

 The third topic: the phenomenon of verbal participation.

 The fourth topic: the phenomenon of Arabs.

 As for the third chapter, it is entitled (Linguistic Structures and their Impact on Semantic Direction), and it is divided into three sections, which are as follows:

 The first topic: the two structures (phonetic and morphological): It dealt with some phonetic and morphological applications.

 The second topic: the grammatical structure: it dealt with three topics on which al-Zubaidi had many applications, as follows:

 First: prepositions.

 Second: the interrogative style.

 Third: the method of deletion.

 The third topic: the semantic structure: it dealt with (lexical structure) and (contextual structure).

 Finally, the conclusion contains the most important results.
