The College of Education / Qurna at the University of Basra held a workshop on the institutional accreditation standard and the quality of achievement

 The workshop touched on several topics, including:

 The first criterion is the strategy of the educational institution.

 The second criterion is governance and management

 And the third criterion is the standard of financial and material resources

 The fourth axis also dealt with the standard of faculty members

 And the fifth axis touched on the criterion of the students axis. This axis considers students the criterion of the educational process, its fruit and the purpose of its existence, and preparing them to face life and its challenges in the present and the future.

 While the sixth axis touched on scientific research

 This axis is of great importance to the educational institution, as it indicates the essence of its excellence.

 The workshop was attended by a number of college professors and specialized committees in the scientific departments.
