On 8/11/2022, the Department of Arabic Language at the Qurna College of Education held an electronic scientific lecture on (the role of the media in guiding priorities) presented by Dr. Umama Mustafa Al-Lawati, from the College of Arts and Social Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman.  Where the doctor talked about the role of the media at the present time in directing and making priorities, and how to identify with those priorities that the media wanted to convey to the recipient and interact with them from a negative and positive side.  The doctor also spoke about the impact of the media, social media and celebrities on the recipient by adopting certain beliefs or promoting specific ideas, products or issues. The lecture was followed by several participations and dialogues from the attendees.
