The College of Education/ Al-Qurna at the University of Basra organized its annual evaluation conference under the title (Assessment and Evaluation We Urge Steps Towards Advancement)
The conference began with the recitation of any of the Holy Quran and the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, and then the reading of the national anthem, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs and a group of deans of faculties.
Through it, the Dean of the College reviewed the scientific and administrative process in the College and the most important achievements of the previous years.
The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs also dealt with the preparation of undergraduate and graduate students in scientific departments. With the need to prepare halls and laboratories to receive new students. And taking into account the number of students in the central admission compared with the infrastructure in the college.
The Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs also dealt with the preparation of the administrative cadre in the college and the shortage. And also the college's most important service achievements for the previous years and its most important future needs.
The heads of departments also addressed the conference. The most important achievements in the scientific departments of the past years in terms of scientific activities such as research, patents, workshops and seminars.
The conference aimed to diagnose the experiences learned from these experiences and study what was achieved from the strategic plan approved by the college for the previous years.
