The College of Education / Qurna and the College of Administration and Economics of Qurna at the University of Basra held a workshop on dealing with student data in the SIS system for scientific departments in the central hall of the College of Education / Qurna. The lecturer in the workshop was Dr. Haider Jassim.
The workshop dealt with how to register students electronically and deal with the data by the students' affairs, and then transfer them to the scientific departments.
The workshop also dealt with the part related to the scientific departments of how to check the data and add the years, stages, units and courses for each student and finally access to adding the student's grades.The workshop aims to transform electronically dealing with students by issuing identities, documents, and student positions for attendance and absence. In addition to providing an integrated database for each scientific department.

The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, the Director of Student Affairs and Registration, Dr. Shukri Shaker, heads and rapporteurs of departments in the two colleges, 
​and a number of teachers.
