Faculty member and professor in the English Language Department at the College of Education/ Qurnah at the University of Basrah, Dr. Jawad Kadhem Jaber, participated in the first international conference (Translation: New Narratives, Diverse Approaches and Rewriting) which was established by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Wasit for the period from 26 to 28 November, through his research entitled (Arabic Complex Predicates: their grammaticalization and semantic impact on the process of translation into English) which aims to explore complex verb structures in the Arabic language and the difficulties of translating them into English.The conference aims to explore the types of cooperation between translation studies and other fields such as linguistics, sociology, journalism, political science, and psychology, and how this cooperation contributes to spreading modern narratives in the field of translation studies.
