The College of Education/Al-Qurnah at the University of Basra organized an introductory welcome meeting for first-year students. The meeting was held in the college's Central Hall and was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali Dharab Shaaban, the respected Administrative Assistant, the Scientific Assistant, the Assistant for Student Affairs, and the Heads of the scientific and humanities departments.

The Dean started the meeting by welcoming the new students and congratulating them on their acceptance into the University of Basra, emphasizing the college's commitment to providing a supportive scientific and academic environment for their studies. He also provided a brief explanation of the college's regulations and instructions, attendance mechanisms, and services offered to students, in addition to answering their inquiries.

This meeting comes within the framework of the College of Education/Al-Qurnah's endeavor to prepare new students for integration into university life and to enhance direct communication between students and the teaching staff, which contributes to supporting their educational journey from the very first day.
