As part of his ongoing academic and cultural activity, Professor Dr. Muhammad Jawad Habib Al-Badrani, a lecturer at the University of Basra, participated in issuing two new critical books that reflect his distinguished efforts in the field of literary and critical studies.

The first book is titled “Majanin Najman Yassin: A Critical Study,” and includes a group of various studies that shed light on the short story collection “Madness and the Like” by writer Najman Yassin, addressing its artistic and aesthetic dimensions and narrative transformations.

As for the second book, it is entitled “Standing on the Frontiers of Interpretation,” and it includes in-depth critical readings into the narrative experience of the writer Iman al-Muhammadawi, as it explores the depths of her texts and reveals her innovative methods in constructing narratives and generating meaning.

This participation comes to enhance the academic presence of Basra University teachers in the Arab cultural scene, and emphasizes the university’s role in supplying the intellectual arena with qualitative and solid contributions.
