The Faculty of Education/Al-Qarna at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit and the Continuing Education Unit, organised a volunteer campaign at the “Nahr Al-Basha Primary Schools for Boys” and “Barakat Sky Primary School for Girls”, with the participation of the faculty members.

This initiative is part of the university's humanitarian and social programs aimed at serving the local community, as the campaign included the maintenance of the locks of the windows of the two schools, in order to ensure the safety and protection of students, in addition to replacing old paintings with new ones suitable for the two educational institutions.
