The College of Education in Qurna - University of Basra carried out an awareness campaign that included posting and advertising a number of informational posters in the corridors of the college as part of ongoing efforts to spread awareness among students about the dangers of drugs and their negative impact on the individual and society.

This campaign aims to educate students about the harms of drug abuse and ways to prevent them, and to shed light on its psychological, social and health effects, as part of the college’s keenness to create a healthy and safe university environment.

This initiative comes within a series of activities that seek to enhance the culture of awareness and social responsibility among students, and to emphasize the role of educational institutions in combating this dangerous scourge.
