The College of Education / Qurna at the University of Basra organized a scientific symposium entitled (Duties of the Examination Committee Member)..

 The symposium aimed to prepare teaching staff to complete and succeed their tasks as members of the central and subsidiary examination committees.

 The symposium, in which Professor Dr. Adnan Sultan Abdulnabi and Assistant Lecturer Ali Badr Jabbar lectured, included a detailed explanation of the duties assigned to members of the examination committee, starting with preparing for the examinations and ending with distributing the results to the students.

 The symposium also included an explanation of the aspects of intentional and unintentional violations and the deterrent penalties imposed by the administrative and penal laws in force on those violations.

 The symposium recommended to members of examination committees in general the need to complete and master the work assigned to them within the time limits specified in accordance with ministerial and university instructions.
