The University of Basra holds a seminar on isolating and diagnosing some types of germs from various body fluids.

The College of Education/Qurnah at the University of Basra held a seminar on bacteria isolated from various bodily fluids of livestock.
The study aims to know the types of bacteria present, in addition to knowing the extent of resistance of the isolated bacteria to antibiotics.
The study included taking isolates from (cows, sheep, buffalo) and cultivating them on various agricultural media and testing the sensitivity of these isolated isolates to commonly used antibiotics.
The study recommended treating disease cases found in livestock to avoid transmitting the infection to other organisms.
