The Department of Life Sciences is one of the departments of the College of Education Qurna, University of Basrah. This department was established with the establishment of the college in 2011. The department includes many classrooms and many laboratories in the various fields of Biology to prepare scientific students. The postgraduate studies in the department of life science were opened from 2020-2021. Many undergraduate students have graduated from the life science department in both studies (morning and evening), the department has the ability to prepare leaders and educators who have the ability to effectively contribute to creating scientific changes.
