Professor Dr. Mohammed Jawad Habib Al-Badrani, a faculty member in the Arabic Language Department at the College of Education – Al-Qurna / University of Basrah, has published a scientific research paper in a peer-reviewed international journal published in the United Kingdom.

The research is titled:

Realizing the Mythic and Mythicizing the Real in Contemporary Iraqi Short Stories

It was published in the ILCR journal, a peer-reviewed scientific journal specializing in literary studies and global cultures.

The research explores the theme of "realizing the mythic and mythicizing the real" in the collection Sacrifices of Ereshkigal (Qurabin Ereshkigal). Through a critical reading, it highlights the intersection between the realistic and the mythological in the contemporary Iraqi short story, contributing to the enrichment of modern critical studies.

This scientific participation comes as part of the efforts of the College of Education – Al-Qurna to support scientific research and enhance its academic presence in reputable international journals.
