The College of Education in Al-Qurna organized an extensive tree-planting campaign in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Women's Affairs Unit, under the supervision of Dr. Fadila Qasim. The campaign covered the college gardens and its surroundings, as part of efforts to eliminate desertified areas and enhance green spaces within the university campus.

The tree-planting campaign aimed to enhance vegetation cover, protect the environment, and preserve green spaces, contributing to the provision of a healthy and sustainable university environment.

The campaign, which involved the participation of professors and students of Al-Qurna College of Education, included planting various types of fruit and ornamental trees in different areas within the campus.

This campaign comes as part of the "Plant, Don't Cut" initiative, which aims to spread environmental awareness and expand green areas, emphasizing the college's role in supporting environmental and developmental initiatives.
