As part of the activities of the International Week for Drug Prevention, the College of Education - Al Qurnah at the University of Basra launched an awareness campaign within the college premises, focusing on the dangers of drug abuse and its negative effects on the individual and society.

The campaign included the distribution of awareness posters carrying clear guidance messages, and the circulation of stickers detailing protection methods and ways to prevent drug use.

This step is part of the University's efforts to establish a safe and protected environment, and to promote positive behavior and preventive awareness among students, thereby contributing to limiting the spread of the drug menace and protecting the university community.
