Based on the directives of the Dean of the College of Education, Al-Qurna, at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Ali Darb Sha'ban, regarding the necessity of following up on the activities of female students in the college, Dr. Fadhila Qasim Salih Al-Ali, Head of the Women's Affairs Unit, held a meeting with a group of female students from various scientific and literary departments of the morning study program.

The meeting aimed to empower the female students and enhance their active participation in university life by discussing the challenges they face, learning about their opinions and suggestions, as well as raising awareness of women's rights and the opportunities available to them.

The Head of the Unit also emphasized the importance of organizing workshops, courses, and training programs that contribute to building self-confidence and developing the students' academic and social skills. This will qualify them for active participation in community service and for representing the college honorably
