The Presidency of the University of Basra extends its warmest congratulations and blessings to its students, teachers, and employees on the occasion of the University’s victory in two distinct axes within the awards of the Iraqi Flag Day Competition, which are:

1.  Outstanding Patent and Intellectual Property Award

2.  Distinguished Scientific Journal Award

This great national achievement is the result of the continuous efforts and sincere academic and research contributions made by the university’s members in order to advance science and knowledge, and it embodies the leading position of the University of Basra among higher education institutions in Iraq.

We also give good news to our children and affiliates that the university has a share in two additional awards that will be announced during the Higher Education Conference scheduled to be held in Baghdad on 10/11/2025.
