A teacher at the College of Education in Gourna participates in an international scientific conference

The teaching assistant at the Qurna College of Education, Assistant Lecturer Saif Muhammad Jassim Al-Maliki, participated in the fourth international scientific conference entitled: Contemporary Scientific Research and its Role in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals, which was held under the auspices of the College of Educational Sciences at Sunan Kaljiaka State Islamic University - Kurdistan Region.

Al-Maliki presented his research titled: Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on the Cognitive and Scientific Level of Students of the College of Education, Qurna/Department of English Language, as a Model.

The research aims to have two main axes:
    1. Identify the extent to which students of the English Department in the College of Education use social media programs.
    2. Explain how to codify the use of artificial intelligence programs in the early stages of higher education.

This participation comes within the framework of the college’s keenness to encourage its professors to contribute actively to international scientific conferences, thus enhancing the position of the University of Basra in academic forums.
