The Qurna College of Education at the University of Basra conducted the competitive exam for students applying for postgraduate studies for the academic year 2025-2026, within the frameworks and instructions approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The examination process took place amid comprehensive preparations, as all necessary technical and logistical requirements were prepared to ensure the smoothness of the examination and the safety of students’ performance. The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Darab Shaaban, accompanied by the Scientific Assistant, the Administrative Assistant, the Student Affairs Assistant, and the Heads of Scientific Departments, inspected the examination halls, and was informed of the conduct of the examinations and the level of students’ commitment to the instructions and directives for the competitive examination.

The college administration stressed its keenness to provide an appropriate examination environment, stressing the importance of adhering to the controls and instructions that regulate the mechanism of application and admission to graduate programs.

For his part, the Director of the Graduate Studies Affairs Division at the college explained that work is underway in coordination with department heads to complete academic interview procedures for applicants after completing the exam, in a way that ensures the accuracy and transparency of all admission stages.
