The College of Education / Qurna at the University of Basra organized a large afforestation campaign in cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Office and the Supreme Youth Council, which included the corridors and gardens of the college. The campaign was supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Darb Shaaban, with the active participation of the Qurna Municipality Directorate, where they contributed to planting a diverse number of trees as part of efforts to enhance environmental protection and increase aesthetics within the university campus.

 The campaign aims to increase green spaces and contribute to improving the environment and local climate
