The Qurna College of Education at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Holy Qur’an House, Qurna branch of the Holy Imam Hussain Shrine, hosted the first Qur’anic competition at the level of Basra Governorate. The event witnessed the presence of the Dean of the College and the participation of Professor Dr. Ahmed Al Mansouri, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, as an arbiter of interpretation. This initiative comes within the framework of continuous cooperation between institutions to serve the community, as participants competed in an atmosphere of distinguished Qur’anic competition
