The College of Education/Al-Qurna at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit, organized a charitable initiative to distribute food baskets to female internal department students on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The baskets included basic food items such as rice, oil, dates, sugar, flour, and legumes, with the aim of supporting the female students and providing them with a suitable atmosphere during the holy month.

The university explained that this initiative comes as part of its humanitarian efforts to support students, especially those residing in the internal departments, which helps them focus on their studies.

The initiative was widely welcomed by the female students, who expressed their gratitude for this generous gesture that reflects the spirit of solidarity in the university community.
