The Women's Affairs Unit at the Qurna College of Education at the University of Basra held its third meeting for the month of January with the college members entitled (Reducing student problems on campus). A number of teaching staff from all departments of the college participated in it. The aim of this meeting was to:
1- Urging the teaching staff to spread awareness among the students of Qurna College
2- Conduct seminars that guide the student in staying away from a bad friend
3- Making paintings, pictures and instructive drawings
4- Activating and emphasizing oversight
5- Conducting social solidarity campaigns 
6- Conducting awareness campaigns among students through the media 
7- Providing assistance to department students during the month of Ramadan 
8- Discuss their needs and provide as much as possible
