The Qurna College of Education at the University of Basra organized a voluntary afforestation campaign under the slogan “Let’s make our world greener.”

The campaign aims to increase green spaces and pay attention to the aesthetics of college gardens and maintain their sustainability, thus improving the environment and reducing pollution levels.

The campaign included planting a large number of trees that are suitable for the environment, in addition to reducing desertification, dust storms and other many benefits of trees.
