The University of Basra organizes a workshop on computational chemistry and its applications using DFT theory

The College of Education/Qurna at the University of Basra organized a workshop on “Computational Chemistry and its Applications Using DFT Theory.”

The symposium aimed to identify the programs used in computational chemistry that rely on density functional theory. The workshop, which was attended by Professor Mushtaq Jari Muften and Eng. Ammar Abdel-Jabbar Kazem, the most important programs used in computational chemistry, which rely on density functional theory. It also dealt with the properties of any compound, the method of calculating the properties of the compound, and the role of computational chemistry in finding many theoretical properties for their practical applications. It touched on the most important practical applications of these compounds using theory.
