Confirming the institutional integration with the Al-Nuzha Commission.. The Minister of Education confirms the adoption of specialized academic programs to combat corruption

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, affirmed the adoption of specialized academic programs in the field of integrity, combating corruption, and providing the necessary environment for training and education, in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission.

 

 This came in his speech during the joint ceremony held at the headquarters of the Federal Integrity Commission to launch the awareness program with Iraqi universities, in implementation of the contents of the national strategy for integrity and combating corruption.

 

 The Minister of Education stated that educational institutions are keen on institutional integration with the Federal Integrity Commission in order to achieve its national goals for which all Iraqis bear responsibility, pointing out at the same time that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is responsible for achieving the goals of its academic institutions and its educational mission and should not back down under the influence of circumstances. Or reduce the quality of institutional performance so as not to allow the claw of corruption to leave its mark on the body of society.

 

 He added that this message represents a moral and professional foundation that calls for more support from the university institution, interaction and collaboration with the Integrity Commission, and an emphasis on adopting specialized academic programs that have a direct impact on dismantling the phenomenon of corruption and providing an environment for continuous training and education for all staffs so that we can face the scourge of corruption with the weapon of knowledge and moral and national responsibility.

 

 For his part, the Head of the Commission of Integrity, Judge Haidar Hanoun, affirmed that the Commission, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the regulatory agencies and state institutions bear the responsibility to face the challenge posed by corruption and reduce its areas. At the same time, he expressed his thanks to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its interaction with the Federal Commission of Integrity through programs and conferences. Awareness workshops and seminars in the environment of Iraqi universities.

 

 In this context, the Ministry's advisor, Dr. Alaa Abdel-Hassan Attia, said that the indicators of positive cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Commission of Integrity resulted from a ministerial committee that included many leaders and experts from these two institutions, as well as the awareness program to spread the culture of integrity in universities, and that educational institutions are looking forward to strengthening This is a partnership that will enhance the chances of success and achieve the ambition to build the nation and protect its holy land.
