The College of Education / Qurna at the University of Basra held a five-a-side football tournament in the college stadium under the supervision of teacher Ammar Abdul-Jabbar and Mr. Maitham Qusai among the students of the departments in the college, where a lottery was held between the department teams, and the opening match took place on Sunday 11/27/2022 between the two stage teams The third and fourth stage in the Department of Chemistry in the presence of the Dean of the College. The first match ended with the victory of the team of the third stage, Department of Chemistry, over the team of the fourth stage, Department of Chemistry. The tournament will continue between the rest of the teams in the college and according to the schedule of matches that was announced to the teams participating in the tournament.

 This tournament comes as a part of supporting the extra-curricular activity in the college and the interest in sports activity.
